How to Disable Startup Apps in Windows 8
Each time you start your Windows 8 PC, a set of programs are launched as soon as you’re logged in to your account. While some of these programs may be of use to you, some may not. So, disabling such non-useful apps will help speed-up your boot time and won’t put much load on your resources. Here’s how you can disable startup apps in Windows 8:
I. Disabling Startup Apps in Windows 8:
1. Right-click anywhere on the Taskbar and select Task Manager.
2. When it opens, click the More details button.
3. Head to Startup tab and you should see the list of apps that launch when you start your PC.
4. Simply click on any app and hit Disable to remove it from the Startup list.
5. And you should be done!
Excellent! You’ve just removed an app from the startup list. That means, that particular app won’t launch the next time you start your PC!
