How to Unroot the Huawei Ascend M860
There could be various reasons to unroot an Android device. Maybe you’re just sick and tired of using root, or maybe you want to reinstate your device’s warranty. Either way, unrooting will help you. This guide teaches how you can unroot your Huawei Ascend M860 smartphone and get its warranty reinstated. Here you go:
I. Before You Begin:
1. You must have rooted your device using the procedure given here. If you used any other method to root your device, this procedure may or may not work for you.
2. Make sure your device has at least 50% of battery life left.
II. Downloading Required Files:
1. z4Root APK (It’s attached in the first post)
III. Unrooting the Huawei Ascend M860:
1. Place the z4Root APK onto your Desktop.
2. Connect your device to your PC via USB cable.
3. Copy the z4Root APK over to the root of your SD card.
4. Once copied, unplug your device from your PC.
5. Enable the Unknown sources option on your device by heading to Menu>>Settings>>Applications>>Unknown sources.
6. Open the File Manager app on your device and install the APK you copied earlier.
7. Once the app’s been installed, launch it from your App Drawer.
8. Hit the option that says Unroot and your device will be unrooted.
9. And you’re done!
Cool! Your device has been unrooted and you now have your lost warranty back!
