How to Root the Huawei Evolution

If you were on a rooted device before you purchased the Huawei Evolution smartphone, then I’m sure you’d like to root this new device as well. There’re thousands of reasons to root a device, as it lets you install root-only apps, flash recoveries and do a lot more than what you could do on an unrooted device. So if you’re ready, jump onto the guide below to learn how to root the Huawei Evolution smartphone.

I. Before You Begin:

1. This will void the warranty of your device and it can only be reinstated if you unroot your device provided an unrooting procedure’s already available there.

2. Make sure your device has at least 50% of battery life left.

II. Downloading Required Files:

1. z4Root APK (It’s attached in the first post)

III. Rooting the Huawei Evolution:

1. Download and place the z4Root APK file onto your Desktop.

2. Plug in your device to your PC via USB cable.

3. Copy the APK over to the root of your SD card.

4. Once it’s been copied, unplug your device from your PC.

5. Head to Menu>>Settings>>Applications on your device and enable the Unknown sources option.

6. Enable the USB debugging option as well by heading to Menu>>Settings>>Applications>>Development>>USB debugging.

7. Open the File Manager app on your device and install the APK you just copied to your device.

8. Once the APK has been installed, launch it from your App Drawer.

9. Hit Permanent Root button in the app and it’ll root your device permanently.

10. Reboot your device once it’s rooted.

11. You’re done!

Brilliant! Your Huawei Evolution has been successfully rooted and you can confirm the same by simply installing the Root Checker app!
