How to Root the Alcatel One Touch 910
If you’ve been looking for a way to root your Alcatel One Touch 910 smartphone, then your search is over now. Here’s a guide that teaches how you can root your device and get the Superuser app running on it. Once you’re rooted, you’re free to use any of the root-only apps available out there as well as you will then be able to flash a custom recovery. So, let’s get the ball rolling:
I. Before You Begin:
1. This will void the warranty of your device. However, you can reinstate the warranty by unrooting your device if there’s any unrooting procedure available.
2. Make sure your device has at least 50% of battery life left.
II. Downloading Required Files:
1. Poot APK (Download link’s given in the first post)
2. Ministro APK (Download link’s available in the first post)
III. Rooting the Alcatel One Touch 910:
1. Simply grab both the APKs using the links given above and place them on your Desktop.
2. Plug in your device to your PC using the USB cable.
3. Copy both the APKs over to the root of your SD card.
4. Once both the files have been copied, unplug your device from your PC.
5. On your device, head to Menu>>Settings>>Applications and enable the Unknown sources option.
6. Now launch the File Manager app on your device and install both the APKs you copied earlier to your device.
7. Launch the Poot app you just installed from your App Drawer.
8. It’ll download some library files using the Ministo app.
9. Once it’s done, you’ll see an option named Press here to poot. Hit it.
10. It’ll now root your device.
11. And you should be rooted now!
Congrats! Your One Touch 910 has been successfully rooted, all thanks to the developers of APKs.
