How to Unroot the Acer beTouch E140

Maybe you’ve had enough playing with your rooted Acer beTouch E140 smartphone and now want to go back to unrooted state? No problem, this guide should help you do that. Here’s how you can unroot your Acer beTouch E140 smartphone:

I. Before You Begin:

1. You must have rooted your device using the procedure given here. If you used any other method to root your device, this procedure might not work for you.

2. Make sure your device has at least 30% of battery life left.

II. Downloading Required Files:

1. Androot APK (Download link’s available in the second post)

III. Unrooting the Acer beTouch E140:

1. Place the Androot APK file on your Desktop.

2. Connect your device to your PC using the USB cable.

3. Copy the APK file over to the root of your SD card.

4. Once the file’s been copied, disconnect your device from your PC.

5. Open the File Manager app on your device and install the APK you copied earlier.

6. Once the APK has been installed, launch it from your App Drawer.

7. Hit Undo Root button in the app and it’ll begin unrooting your device.

8. Reboot your device once it’s been unrooted.

9. You’re all done!

Great! You’ve successfully unrooted your Acer beTouch E140 smartphone and your warranty has been reinstated!
