$229 Samsung Transform Ultra coming to Boost Mobile on October 7
Learning from the SNAFU that the Samsung Prevail leak was, Boost Mobile has this time announced a new Android phone from the same manufacturer the right way. The device, called the Transform Ultra, features moderately high features of a 1GHz processor, a 3mpx rear cam (front VGA), Android 2.3, the usual mix of connectivity options and a QWERTY keypad for faster typing with messages and emails. Boost Mobile is also introducing the new “Mobile ID” pack with this device, which means that users can get a special-themed set of apps, icons, widgets, ringtones and other media directly to their handset based on their personal preferences.
While the features may pale in comparison to other bigwigs that are dominating the market right now, the Transform Ultra is sure to find a few pockets at the least, mostly because of its no-contract price of $229 and its QWERTY keypad, a preferred addition for many a business user. Look for it to land both online and in retail stores on October 7.
