Sony Xperia Tablet Z Available for Pre-Order Now, May 24th Ship Date
Sony’s latest innovation, the Xperia tablet Z, is now available for pre-order and isn’t aimed at the budget conscious. The 17.5 ounce, 6.9mm thick is currently the lightest and slimmest 10-inch slate available, and has an impressive spec roster to boost. Users will delight in a 1.5GHz quad-core Snapdragon processor, Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean, 2GB RAM, an 8.1-megapixel Exmor R camera, NFC, LTE, S-Force virtual surround sound, 32GB storage and a 10.1-inch 1,920 x 1,200 display with Mobile BRAVIA Engine 2 tech. The tablet Z is also resistant to dust and water and comes equipped with Sony’s TV SideView app.
Sounds good so far right? Well, the device does seem a bit fragile to handle which may be the downside to having the slimmest device out there. There’s also the steep $599.99 price tag. So, if you’re looking for a cheap slab that won’t break the bank this is not the device for you.
