How to Unroot the LG Optimus ME P350
Have had enough playing with your rooted LG Optimus ME P350? Want to go back to unrooted state? No problem, this guide will teach you how you can do that. While nobody would like to unroot his device, there may come a time when you need the warranty of your device and unrooting helps you get it back. So, here’s how you can unroot your LG Optimus ME P350 device.
I. Before You Begin:
1. You must have rooted your device using the procedure given here. If you used any other method to root your device, this procedure may or may not work for you.
2. Make sure your device has at least 50% of battery life left.
II. Downloading Required Files:
1. GingerBreak APK (It’s attached in the first post)
III. Unrooting the LG Optimus ME P350:
1. Download and place the GingerBreak APK file onto your Desktop.
2. Connect your device to your PC using the USB cable.
3. Copy the GingerBreak APK over to the root of your SD card.
4. Once it’s been copied, unplug your device from your PC.
5. Turn ON the USB debugging option on your device by heading to Menu>>Settings>>Applications>>Development>>USB debugging.
6. Open the File Manager app on your device and install the APK you copied earlier to your device.
7. Once it’s been installed, open it from your App Drawer.
8. Hit Unroot device button in the app and it should unroot your device.
9. Once it has unrooted your device, reboot your device.
10. You’re all done!
Great! You’ve successfully unrooted your Optimus ME device and there’ll be no playing with root-only apps from now on.
