Google Launches All Access: Music Streaming Service For $9.99 Monthly Subscription
We’ve all heard the rumors and now know that Google has indeed been working on its own music-streaming service. Using the first day of Google I/O to introduce it to the world, the service is dubbed Google Play Music All Access and focuses on personalized recommendations through a feature called the so-called Explore. Similar to other well known music streaming services like Spotify, All Access will allow you to listen to radio station while listening to a specific song. Google also played up another feature called Listen Now which highlights new releases and content Google thinks you’ll like.
As expected, All Access will cost you a monthly subscription fee. A subscription costs $9.99 in the US, and all users will get a 30-day free trial. The service is launching today in the states and if you decide to subscribe before June 30th, then you will get $2 discounted from the monthly charge.
