How to Root the Commtiva Z71
So you just purchased the Commtiva Z71 smartphone and wondering how you could get access to root-only apps on this device? Well, there’s an easy way out there to let you do so, just root your device and you’ll be done. Rooting the Commtiva Z71 is an extremely easy process and once you’re done with it, you’ll have full control over all the functions of your device, be it uninstalling system apps or modifying system files. Here’s how you can root your Commtiva Z71 device:
I. Before You Begin:
1. This will void the warranty of your device. However, you can reinstate the warranty by unrooting your device if there’s any unrooting procedure available.
2. Make sure your device has at least 50% of battery life left.
II. Downloading Required Files:
1. z4Root (It’s attached in the first post)
III. Rooting the Commtiva Z71:
1. Download and place the z4Root app onto your Desktop.
2. Connect your device to your PC via USB cable.
3. Copy the z4Root app over to the root of your SD card.
4. Once it’s been copied, disconnect your device from your PC.
5. Enable the Unknown sources option on your device by heading to Menu>>Settings>>Applications>>Unknown sources.
6. Open the File Manager app on your device and install the app you copied earlier to your device.
7. Once the app’s been installed, launch it from your App Drawer.
8. Hit Permanent Root button in the app and it’ll start rooting your device.
9. Within a few seconds, your device will be rooted.
10. And you’re all done!
Brilliant! You’ve successfully rooted your Commtiva Z71 smartphone, now enjoy all of your favorite root-only apps on your lovely device!
