How to Flash a Custom Recovery on the Huawei Ascend M860
So you rooted your Huawei Ascend M860 and now want to flash a custom recovery on it? No problem, here’s how you can do that. A custom recovery’s useful in many terms, it lets you backup your firmware, flash a new firmware and even install small fragments of a firmware called Mods. This guide teaches how you can flash a custom recovery on the Huawei Ascend M860 smartphone and get the most out of it:
I. Before You Begin:
1. You must have rooted your device before doing this procedure. Please head to our How to Root the Huawei Ascend M860 procedure first, finish it, then return to this procedure and continue.
2. This will replace your current recovery with the CWM Recovery.
3. Make sure your device has at least 60% of battery life left.
II. Downloading Required Files:
1. ROM Manager — QR Code (Google Play Link)
III. Flashing a Custom Recovery on the Huawei Ascend M860:
1. Head over to Google Play and download and install the ROM Manager app on your device.
2. Once installed, open it from your App Drawer.
3. Tap the first option that says Flash ClockworkMod Recovery.
4. Follow the on-screen instructions.
5. And you’re good to go!
Cheers! You now have a working custom recovery up and running on your device. Flashing custom ROMs isn’t a big deal for you now!

This doesnt work. I cant install Rom Manager because it doesnt appear in Market.
