How to Turn OFF Location Services on an iPad

Location Services on your iPad allows the apps to locate your device on the map, it’s useful if you’re using Maps to find the directions to a location. Even some websites ask you to provide your location info so they can serve you better with specific search results relevant to your location. Some users just don’t want themselves to be tracked by such apps and simply want to disable this option. Here’s how you can do that:

I. Before You Begin:

1. This should work for other iOS devices as well that include the iPhone and iPod Touch.

II. Turning OFF Location Services on an iPad:

1. Tap on the Settings icon on your screen.

2. Tap on Privacy followed by Location Services.

3. Here you can change the location settings for a specific app, or just disable it for all the apps.

4. To disable it for all the apps, turn the Location Services slider OFF.

5. And you’re done!
