How to Update the Apps on an iPad

Often times developers release updates to their apps, and these include bug-fixes and debut of some new features. You should always keep all of your apps updated with the latest version and if you don’t know how to do that, here’s how:

I. Before You Begin:

1. This should work on other iOS devices as well, including the iPhone and iPod Touch.

II. Updating the Apps on an iPad:

1. Tap on the App Store icon on your screen.

2. Tap on Updates option given in lower-right corner.

3. You’ll now see a list of all the apps that need to be updated.

4. Simply tap the Update All button given in the top-left corner to update all the apps at once.

5. And you’re done!

Cool! You now have the latest versions of apps on your iPad, maybe you’ve got some new features as well!

  1. When I update (daily) the updated apps say “Open” but stay on the screen. Nothing I download ever leaves the screen. I now have over 30 upgraded apps still listed on the “upgrade” screen. This is only since the upgrade to IOS 7. Any help anyone can give will be MUCH appreciated. Thank you. NLS
