How to Unroot the Acer Iconia Tab A200

Maybe you’ve messed-up with your device? Or maybe you’re going to visit the service center? Either way, you’ll want to unroot your device. Unrooting will restore the warranty of your device as well as get your device back to stock. Here’s how you can unroot your Acer Iconia Tab A200:

I. Before You Begin:

1. You should have rooted your device using the procedure given here.

2. You must have a custom recovery installed on your device. Follow this guide to do so.

3. Make sure your device has at least 70% of battery life left.

II. Downloading Required Files:

1. Stock Firmware (Download the appropriate firmware for your device)

III. Unrooting the Acer Iconia Tab A200:

1. Place the Stock Firmware archive on your Desktop.

2. Plug in your device to your PC using the USB cable.

3. Copy the Stock Firmware archive over to the root of your SD card.

4. Once it has been copied, unplug your device from your PC.

5. Now head on over to Google Play and download and install the Quick Boot app.

6. Once installed, launch it from your App Drawer.

7. Hit Recovery option in the app and your device will reboot into the Recovery mode.

8. From there, select install zip from sdcard followed by choose zip from sdcard.

9. Choose the Stock Firmware zip to be flashed on your device.

10. As soon as you choose the file, it’ll begin flashing it.

11. Once the firmware has been flashed, reboot your device.

12. And you’re unrooted now!

Awesome! Your device has been unrooted and is back to stock.
