Google+ Gets Synced Notification System, Rolling Out to Android and Web Users Now
In an announcement today Google confirmed that it is updating the notification system for Google+. The rollout will start with Android, the web, and will follow up with iOS.
The revamped system provides synced notifications across all of your devices, which streamline the overall user experience. The notification tray also separates read items from unread, which will help with organization and allow the user to visually see what needs to be prioritized. The app will also include the officially-sanctioned navigation drawer to be more consistent with other Google apps.
The update is rolling out now to the Android app and the web. If you’re on iOS just sit tight and be patient for the rollout to reach you soon. Interested users can grab the updated Android app now at the Play Store link below.
