How to Unroot the Motorola RAZR V (Bell)

Flashing the stock firmware on your Motorola RAZR V (Bell) will unroot you and you will have your lost warranty reinstated. You may want to unroot your device because you’re selling it or you’re just going to visit the service center for warranty reasons. Either way, let us show you how you can unroot your Motorola RAZR V (Bell) smartphone.

I. Before You Begin:

1. You should have rooted your device using the procedure given here.

2. This should work on Windows based PCs only.

3. Make sure your device has at least 70% of battery life left.

II. Downloading Required Files:

1. Stock Firmware (Download the appropriate firmware for your device)

2. RSD Lite (It’s attached in the first post)

III. Unrooting the Motorola RAZR V (Bell):

1. Place both files you downloaded to your Desktop.

2. Extract files from RSD Lite archive over to your Desktop.

3. Double-click on the RSD Lite’s executable file and follow the installation instructions.

4. On your device, head over to Google Play and download and install the Quick Boot app.

5. Once it’s been installed, launch it from your App Drawer.

6. Hit Bootloader option in the app and your device will reboot into bootloader mode.

7. Plug in your device to your PC using the USB cable.

8. Run the RSD Lite program by double-clicking its shortcut on your Desktop.

9. Click on “…” and select the Stock Firmware file available on your Desktop.

10. Hit Start and it’ll start flashing the firmware on your device.

11. Once the firmware’s been flashed, reboot your device.

12. You’re all set!

Cheers! Your device has been unrooted is now back to the original stock firmware.
