How to Flash a Custom Recovery on the Notion Ink Adam

So you want an advanced custom recovery for your Notion Ink Adam that can help you flash custom ROMs ands Mods? Here it is. ClockworkMod Recovery’s available for your device to fulfill all your custom development related wishes and installing it takes no more than a few minutes. Here’s how:

I. Before You Begin:

1. You must have rooted your device before doing this procedure. Check out our How to Root the Notion Ink Adam procedure to root your device.

2. This should flash ClockworkMod Recovery on your device.

II. Downloading Required Files:

1. ClockworkMod Recovery (Download link’s available in the first post)

III. Flashing a Custom Recovery on the Notion Ink Adam:

1. Place the CWM Recovery file on your Desktop.

2. Rename it to update.zip.

3. Plug in your device to your PC using the USB cable.

4. Copy the update.zip file over to the root of your SD card.

5. Once the file’s been copied, unplug your device from your PC.

6. Turn OFF your device.

7. Turn it back on by holding down Volume UP+Power buttons together.

8. Your device should now reboot into the stock recovery mode.

9. Select Apply SD card:update.zip option available in the recovery menu.

10. It should flash the CWM Recovery on your device.

11. Once the recovery’s been flashed, reboot your device.

12. And you’re all done!

Awesome! You’ve successfully flashed CWM Recovery on your Notion Ink Adam and booting into same is as easy as pressing the Volume UP+Power buttons combo!
