How to Unroot the Huawei Honor 2

Sending your device to service center for any warranty reasons? Make sure you unroot it first. It’ll reinstate your warranty as well as remove any modifications that you may done on your device. So the device will look like new when you take it to the center. Here’s how you can unroot your Huawei Honor 2:

I. Before You Begin:

1. You should have rooted your device using the procedure given here.

2. Make sure your device has at least 70% of battery life left.

II. Downloading Required Files:

1. Stock Firmware (Download the appropriate firmware for your device)

III. Unrooting the Huawei Honor 2:

1. Place the Stock Firmware archive on your Desktop.

2. Extract files from the archive over to your Desktop. You’ll get a folder called dload.

3. Plug in your device to your PC via USB cable.

4. Copy the dload folder you extracted earlier over to the root of your SD card.

5. Once it’s been copied, unplug your device from your PC.

6. Turn OFF your device.

7. Turn it back on by holding down Volume UP+Volume DOWN+Power buttons together.

8. Your device should automatically start updating itself with the firmware file.

9. Once the firmware’s been installed, reboot your device.

10. You’re all done!

Excellent! Your Huawei Honor 2 has been unrooted and is back to stock.
