How to Unroot the Pantech Pocket
Worried about the warranty status of your device? Want to unroot your device to reclaim its warranty? No problem, here’s how you can do that. Unrooting does the job of reinstating warranty perfectly and lets you have a valid warranty of your device. Here’s how you can unroot your Pantech Pocket device:
I. Before You Begin:
1. You must have rooted your device using the procedure given here. If you used any other method to root your device, this procedure may or may not work for you.
2. This procedure works on Windows based PCs only.
II. Downloading Required Files:
1. SuperOneClick (It’s attached in the first post)
III. Unrooting the Pantech Pocket:
1. Place the SuperOneClick archive onto your Desktop.
2. Unzip files from the archive over to your Desktop.
3. Turn ON the USB debugging option on your device by heading to Menu>>Settings>>Applications>>Development>>USB debugging.
4. Once it’s been turned ON, plug in your device to your PC using the USB cable.
5. Double-click on the SuperOneClick executable file available on your Desktop.
6. Hit Unroot and it’ll start unrooting your device.
7. Reboot your device once it’s been unrooted.
8. You’re all done!
Great! You’ve successfully unrooted your Pantech Pocket device, you now have your lost warranty back!
