How to Unroot the LG Eclypse
Maybe you’re returning your device to service center? Maybe you’re selling your device and going to buy a new one? Either way, unrooting will help. Unrooting will restore the warranty of your device and thus you won’t face any unexpected questions at the service center. It’ll also help you get a few extra bucks for your device from the buyer since it’ll be in under warranty. Let’s see how you can unroot your LG Eclypse smartphone:
I. Before You Begin:
1. You must have rooted your device using the procedure given here. If you used any other method to root your device, this procedure may or may not work for you.
2. This procedure works on Windows based PCs only.
II. Downloading Required Files:
1. SuperOneClick (It’s attached in the first post)
III. Unrooting the LG Eclypse:
1. Download and place the SuperOneClick archive on your Desktop.
2. Unzip files from the archive over to your Desktop.
3. Turn ON the USB debugging option on your device by heading to Menu>>Settings>>Applications>>Development>>USB debugging.
4. Once it’s been enabled, plug in your device to your PC using the USB cable.
5. Double-click on the SuperOneClick executable file available on your Desktop.
6. Hit Unroot and it’ll start unrooting your device.
7. Reboot your device once it’s been unrooted.
8. You’re done!
Great! Your device has been successfully unrooted and is no longer compatible with root-only apps!
