How to Flash a Custom Recovery on the Huawei Sonic
Have a rooted Huawei Sonic smartphone? Want to flash a custom recovery on it so you can then enjoy some custom ROMs? No problem, here’s how you can do that. While rooting the Huawei Sonic was an easy task, so is flashing a custom recovery task. Here’s how you can flash a custom recovery on your Huawei Sonic:
I. Before You Begin:
1. You must have rooted your device before doing this procedure. Please head to our How to Root the Huawei Sonic procedure first, finish it, then return to this procedure and continue.
2. This procedure should work on Windows based PCs only.
3. You should have appropriate drivers installed on your PC. If you don’t, download them from here.

III. Flashing a Custom Recovery on the Huawei Sonic:
1. Place the Recovery Installer archive onto your Desktop.
2. Extract files from the archive over to your Desktop.
3. Turn ON the USB debugging option on your device by simply heading to Menu>>Settings>>Applications>>Development>>USB debugging.
4. Plug in your device to your PC using the USB cable.
5. Double-click on the file named Instalador.bat available on your Desktop.
6. It should flash the custom recovery on your device.
7. Once the recovery has been flashed, reboot your device.
8. You’re done!
