How to Flash a Custom Recovery on the Acer Liquid Mini
So you just rooted your Acer Liquid Mini smartphone and now wish to flash a custom recovery on it? No problem, here’s how you can do that. Flashing a custom recovery will help you in many ways, it’ll let you flash custom ROMs, Mods and all sorts of flashable content. In addition to flashing new ROMs, you should also be able to backup your current ROMs so in case something goes wrong while flashing files, you can always revert back to the working condition. Here’s how you can flash a custom recovery on your Acer Liquid Mini smartphone:
I. Before You Begin:
1. You must have rooted your device before doing this procedure. Please head to our How to Root the Acer Liquid Mini procedure first, finish it, then return to this procedure and continue.
2. Make sure your device has at least 60% of battery life left.
II. Downloading Required Files:
1. ClockworkMod Recovery (Download link’s given in the second post)
III. Flashing a Custom Recovery on the Acer Liquid Mini:
1. Download and place the ClockworkMod Recovery archive onto your Desktop.
2. Extract files from the archive over to your Desktop.
3. Turn ON the USB debugging option on your device by heading to Menu>>Settings>>Applications>>Development>>USB debugging.
4. Turn OFF your device.
5. Turn it back on by holding down Volume UP+Volume DOWN+Power buttons together.
6. When the Red LED turns ON, let go of the Volume DOWN button.
7. You should now be in Fastboot mode.
8. Plug in your device to your PC using the USB cable.
9. Double-click on the file named install_recovery.cmd available on your Desktop.
10. Follow the on-screen instructions to flash the recovery on your device.
11. Once the recovery’s been flashed, reboot your device.
12. You’re all done!
Brilliant! Your device’s been successfully equipped with a custom recovery to let you flash ROMs and Mods!

Warning;
The latest version DOES NOT recover “FLEX”! Just found out over almost a year or so of using it.,
This is important when everything goes wrong. Specially for “Advanced Users”.
It should backup every single “partition”.
“Boot”” “recovery” “System” “Flex” “Data / Userdata” “Cache” “Fota” “Misc”
Flex is missing!!!
And “Misc and Fota” should be included…
I got them manually. But it’s strictly important to have such backup.
I would appreciat that someone could contact the programmer and ask him/her to add these features.
