How to Flash a Custom Recovery on the HTC One X (AT&T)

If you haven’t flashed a custom recovery on your AT&T branded HTC One X smartphone, then we highly recommend you to do that now. A custom recovery helps you in many ways to customize your device, it allows you to flash custom ROMs, Mods and all sorts of flashable content so you can get the best out of your device. Here’s how you can go about flashing CWM Recovery on your AT&T branded HTC One X:

I. Before You Begin:

1. You must have rooted your device before doing this procedure. Please head to our How to Root the HTC One X (AT&T) procedure first, finish it, then return to this procedure and continue.

2. Make sure your device has at least 60% of battery life left.

II. Downloading Required Files:

1. ROM Manager — QR Code (Google Play Link)

III. Installing ClockworkMod Recovery on the HTC One X (AT&T):

1. Head over to the Google Play and download and install the ROM Manager app on your device.

2. Once the app has been installed, launch it from your App Drawer.

3. Hit the first option that says Flash ClockworkMod Recovery.

4. Now select your device from the list you’ve on your screen.

5. It’ll begin flashing the recovery on your device, it should take a couple of minutes to finish.

6. Once the recovery has been flashed, reboot your device.

7. You’re all set!

Excellent! You’ve successfully flashed CWM Recovery on your HTC One X and now go ahead and flash your favorite ROMs on your device!
