How to Root the Samsung Galaxy Pocket Plus
Samsung Galaxy Pocket Plus was released back in 2012 and is one of the Android phones running Android 4.0 ICS at that time. Being an Android device, it can be rooted so you can then tinker around with it, install some mods and maybe change your entire firmware by replacing it with a custom ROM. But before you do all this, you’re gonna need root on your device and the guide below shows exactly how you can root your device. So follow it and get your device rooted, then do what you want with your device:
I. Before You Begin:
1. This will void the warranty of your device. However, you can reinstate the warranty by unrooting your device if there’s any unrooting procedure available.
2. This procedure works on Windows based PCs only.
3. You should have Samsung drivers installed on your PC. If you don’t, get them from here.
II. Downloading Required Files:
1. Odin
2. Pre-rooted System Partition (Download link’s given at the end of the first post)
III. Rooting the Samsung Galaxy Pocket Plus:
1. Download and place both the files on your Desktop.
2. Extract files from the Odin archive over to your Desktop.
3. Double-click on the Odin executable file and it’ll open.
4. Click on PDA and select the Pre-rooted System Partition file available on your Desktop.
5. Make sure you haven’t checked the Repartition box in the tool.
6. Checkmark the boxes that say Auto Reboot and F. Reset Time.
7. Turn OFF your device.
8. Turn it back on by holding down Volume DOWN+Home+Power buttons together for a few seconds.
9. Your device should reboot into Download mode.
10. Plug in your device to your PC using the USB cable.
11. Hit Start in the Odin and it’ll begin flashing the system partition on your device.
12. It should take a couple of minutes to finish flashing the file.
13. Once the flashing’s done, reboot your device.
14. And you should be rooted now!
Excellent! You’ve successfully rooted your Samsung Galaxy Pocket Plus smartphone, enjoy the freedom to customize your device the way you want!
IV. Flash a Custom Recovery Image (Optional):
1. If you would like to flash a custom recovery image in order to flash custom ROMs, head to the How To Flash a Custom Recovery Image on the Samsung Galaxy Pocket Plus to learn how to do that.

can u make a video? please!
What’s the pre-rooted system partition files? Because when you say “the last link on the first post”, there’s a list in the beginning that has 4 links, the last of which is the samsung drivers (which you have already given a link to), and then, at the end, there’s a link to a stock recovery image. Maybe you meant the 3rd link on the list that I’ve already mentioned? This link takes you to the superuser root zip file. Please, I’d like some answers.
