Sony’s Flagship Honami Sneaks Through the FCC, Launch Coming Soon?
Over the last couple of weeks, we’ve seen a steady leaks surrounded around Sony’s next big thing, otherwise known as the Honami. What the rumors failed to provide us was with an indication of when this device would be ready.
That’s all about to change as the Honami has just snuck quietly through the FCC. The recent filing hides all internal and external images of the device, but the document clearly confirms a software version called “s_atp_honami_1_25_1“. For anyone not familiar with FCC filings this is typically a solid sign that the manufacturer is ready to release the device. Now it’s just a waiting game.
With the Motorola X and next generation iPhone expected out this fall, we can’t wait to see how this Sony superstar stacks up against the competition.
