Windows Phone 101: How to Translate Text in Real Time (Video)

One cool app for Windows Phone is the Bing translate app. Not only does this app allow you to put in text and have it translated between different languages, but it also allows you to use the camera to translate written text you can see into other languages in semi-real time. Perfect for the next time your walking around a small Italian town and need to know what that road sign is leading you to. Here’s how to use the real-time text translation on your Windows Phone device.

1. Go to the Store.

2. Search for and install Translator by Microsoft.

3. Find Translator in your app list and open it.

4. Tap Camera.

5. Tap the language you want to translate from.

6. Point the device at the text you need translated.
