Samsung Focus hitting AT&T on November 8
AT&T has just revealed pricing and release details on the upcoming Windows Phone 7 on its network, the Samsung Focus. The device will be sold at $199.99 (on a new two-year contract) and will hit the streets on Monday, November 8. Aside from the spanking new Microsoft operating system, the Focus features a gorgeous 4.0-inch WVGA Super AMOLED touchscreen display that supports a resolution of 480×800. There is also 8GB of internal memory which can be bumped up to 32GB via MicroSD, a rarity among the WP7 ilk at the moment. There’s also Bluetooth, WiFi, aGPS, Windows Marketplace and a 5-megapixel camera (720p video recording) while the whole shebang is run smoothly by a Qualcomm Snapdragon QSD8250 processor clocked at 1GHz with 512 MB RAM and 512 MB ROM.
With many other carriers announcing releases scheduled for this month and the next, this is turning out to be a fine Christmas indeed!
