How to Flash a Custom Recovery on the Prestigio PAP3500 Duo

Got a rooted Prestigio PAP3500 Duo smartphone and wish to flash a custom recovery on it? No problem, here’s how you can do that. A custom recovery is an essential thing that allows you to flash various ROMs on your device. Here’s how you can get a custom recovery up and running on your device:

I. Before You Begin:

1. You must be rooted before you can do this procedure. Please head to our How to Root the Prestigio PAP3500 Duo procedure first and root your device, then come back to this one and continue.

2. Your device should have at least 60% of battery life left.

II. Downloading Required Files:

1. ClockworkMod Recovery Image

2. Mobileuncle MTK Tools — QR Code (Google Play Link)

III. Flashing a Custom Recovery on the Prestigio PAP3500 Duo:

1. Download and place the custom recovery image on your Desktop.

2. Rename the recovery image to recovery.img.

3. Now head over to the Google Play and download and install the Mobileuncle MTK Tools app on your device.

4. Connect your device to your PC using the USB cable.

5. Copy the Recovery Image over to the root of your SD card.

6. Disconnect the device from your PC once the recovery image’s been copied.

7. Open the Mobileuncle MTK Tools app from your App Drawer.

8. Hit Recovery option in the app and choose the Recovery Image you copied earlier to be flashed on your device.

9. It’ll do the rest of the job for you.

10. And you’re all set!
