How to Root the Karbonn A15

So you did good to yourself by purchasing the Karbonn A15 smartphone running on the Google’s Android operating system? Great. Now since you’ve an Android device right in your hands, let’s tinker around with it to make it more interesting. The first step towards customizing any Android device is to root it, it’ll let you modify the system files so you can then customize your device the way you want to. Let’s see how you can root your Karbonn A15 smartphone:

I. Before You Begin:

1. This will void the warranty of your device. However, you can reinstate the warranty by unrooting your device if there’s any unrooting procedure available.

2. You must have proper drivers installed on your PC. If you don’t, get the latest drivers from here.

II. Downloading Required Files:

1. Root Package (Download link’s given in the first post, in step-3)

III. Rooting the Karbonn A15:

1. Start off by downloading the Root Package archive and place it on your Desktop.

2. Extract files from the archive over to your Desktop. Don’t run any files just yet.

3. Turn ON the USB debugging option on your device by heading to Menu>>Settings>>Developer options>>USB debugging.

4. Once it’s been enabled, connect your device to your PC via USB cable.

5. Now double-click on the file named ICS_Root_Unlocker.bat available on your Desktop.

6. It should start rooting your device, just sit back and relax until your device gets rooted.

7. Reboot your device once it’s been rooted.

8. You’re all done!

Brilliant! You’ve successfully rooted your Karbonn A15 smartphone. Enjoy the custom world goodness on your device!
