How to Root the Window N70S

The Window N70S is an Android tablet manufactured by a Chinese company. It may not be a popular tablet out there but it boasts some of the great features one would look for when buying a tablet. Fortunately a root method has surfaced the Internet that allows users to gain root-access on this tablet and enjoy a number of features that are only available to rooted users. So if you’re one of the owners of the tablet, follow the following guide and you should be rooted in no time:

I. Before You Begin:

1. This will void the warranty of your device. However, you can reinstate the warranty by unrooting your device if there’s any unrooting procedure available.

2. Make sure to backup any data you’ve stored on your device just in case something goes wrong and your device gets wiped.

3. You should have MoboRobo installed on your PC. If you don’t, head here and get it installed on your PC.

II. Downloading Required Files:

1. Root Package (Download link’s available in the first post)

III. Rooting the Window N70S:

1. Download and place the Root Package archive onto your Desktop.

2. Extract files from the archive over to your Desktop.

3. Enable the USB debugging option on your device by heading to Menu>>Settings>>Developer options>>USB debugging.

4. Once it’s been enabled, plug in your device to your PC via USB cable.

5. It should install the required drivers on your PC. So wait till it finishes doing so.

6. Now right-click on the file named n70dc_jelly_bean_script_v0.5 and select Run as administrator.

7. Choose Root option in the tool and it should begin rooting your device.

8. Your device should be rooted within a few seconds.

9. And you’re all done!

Excellent! You’ve successfully rooted your N70S device. Go ahead and enjoy all those featureful root-only apps on your device!
