How to Root the LG G Pad 8.3 V500

The LG G Pad 8.3, as its name suggests, is a tablet with a 8.3 inch touchscreen display, a quad-core 1.7GHz processor aided by 2GB RAM, a 5MP camera, and 16GB of onboard storage running Android 4.2.2 operating system as of this post.  With these specs, the tablet in itself is a pretty powerful device but if you yearn for something more from it, rooting it is one way to go.  The guide below should help you with that and you should be be able to overclock/underclock, back up apps and if available in the future, flash a custom recovery in no time.

I.  Before You Begin

1.  Charge your device t 75% or more to prevent unwanted shutdowns during the procedure.

2.  Back up everything you feel is important before you start.
