Oppo Find 7a Unboxing (Video)
Oppo, a Chinese electronics manufacturer is getting a lot of press lately. If you haven’t heard, the reason for this press is their two new flagship devices, the Oppo Find 7 and the Oppo Find 7a. The former is the real show stopper with it’s super high Quad HD 5.5″ display (2560 x 1440 pixels) and metal body, but, since it isn’t available yet, the Find 7a, it’s slightly lowered spec’d, lowered priced brother is what we have for you today.
Even with it’s slightly lower specs, the device is still on par with most flagship devices available at the moment. It has the same processor as the HTC One M8, a 5.5″ 1080P screen, a 13MP Sony XMOR Sensor rear camera, a 5MP front facing camera, 2GBs of RAM, 16GBs of internal storage and a MicroSD card slot. On top of that, it’s a full $200 cheaper than the equivalent HTC One M8 or Galaxy S5 unlocked and you can see why it’s getting some attention.
I’ll be asking the tough questions, and putting it through it’s paces in my review later this week, but, without further ado, here’s an unboxing of the Oppo Find 7a and what it comes with.
Anyone thinking about shelling out the $499 for one of these instead of the more common choices?
Definitely salivating over the Find 7 with the QHD, 3GB RAM model. I especially give Oppo the high five when it comes to both the removable battery and microSD slot. The design is gorgeous and the price is way better than the S5 or M8 or Z2. Kudos to Oppo, they may have a new customer very soon. Nice unboxing too, kind of jelly.
Yeah that’s what I want to see for sure. Also I have to say using this phone (review coming soon) an unexpected feature I find I love is the quick charger and the battery life. Its much better than the M8 and GS5. If the Find 7 has that plus what you just mentioned then it’ll be hard for me to recommend any other current Android device possibly… Well see!
Thanks!
First I can’t wait to read/see your review. Second, I’m officially jealous you have it. Third, there maybe 1 more smartphone that could give it a run for it’s(cheaper) price, the LG G3. QuadHD, 3GB RAM, removable battery w/ 3000Mah, almost bezel-less display….it’s going to be a VERY difficult choice, esp since I’m not officially a technology reviewer. These 2 smartphones atm make my smartphone dreams. BTW, after you’re done reviewing the Find 7A, if you’d like to pass it along, I’ll gladly accept it. LOL.
Thanks!
Ah, that is true, I forgot about the G3 for a sec, that does make it a harder choice for sure. I think my next daily phone will have to be one or the other (assuming nothing else comes out between now and then of course).
Ha, I wish I could just give it away, but I need to sell it to get my money back for it 🙂
