How to Root the Oppo R815T Clover
Have you been wondering what all you can do with your Oppo R815T Clover device? Well, there’re a lot of things you can do with it. But if you gain root-access on it, you’ll have a number of things to do than what you can do without root. This procedure teaches how you can root the aforementioned device.
Rooting is the process of gaining administrative rights on your Android device. Once we root our Android device, we can then make changes to it to customize it well beyond what it normally can do.
Once you have root access on your Oppo R815T Clover, you’ll be able to:
- Remove apps that were preinstalled by your carrier/manufacturer from your device.

I. Before You Begin
1. This will void the warranty of your device. We won’t be held responsible if you end-up bricking or damaging your device. Do it at your own risk.
2. You can unroot your device to reinstate the warranty, however.
II. Downloading Required Files
1. Download Framaroot APK and save it to your desktop.

2. Download Mobile Uncle APK and save it to your desktop.
3. Download CWM Recovery and save it to your desktop.
III. Rooting the Oppo R815T Clover
1. Plug in your device to your PC using the USB cable.
2. Copy the Framaroot APK from your desktop over to the root of your SD card.
3. Once it’s copied, unplug your device from your PC.
4. Head to Menu > Settings > Security on your device and enable the Unknown sources option.
5. Open File Manager and tap on the APK you just copied to your device. It will install on your device.
6. Once installed, launch it from your App Drawer.
7. Select Install SuperSU from the first dropdown menu.
8. Tap on Boromir from the exploits list.
9. Follow the on-screen instructions for rooting your device.
10. Your device should now be rooted!
Congratulations! Your Oppo R815T Clover is now rooted and you can verify the same by installing Root Checker from the Google Play.

IV. Flashing a Custom Recovery on the Oppo R815T Clover
1. Extract files from CWM Recovery to your desktop by right-clicking on it and selecting Extract here.
2. Connect your device to your PC using the USB cable.
3. Copy CWM Recovery Image as well as Mobile Uncle APK over to the SD card storage of your device.
4. Once both the files are copied, disconnect your device from your PC.
5. Open File Manager and install the Mobile Uncle app on your device.
6. Once installed, launch the app from your App Drawer.
7. Select Recovery Update.
8. Choose the CWM Recovery Image you copied earlier to be flashed on your device.
9. It’ll begin flashing the recovery on your device.
10. When it’s flashed, reboot your device.
11. You’re all set!
Brilliant! Your Oppo R815T Clover now has a custom recovery that you can use for installing custom ROMs and doing a number of other tasks, such as wiping data on your device, and so on.
