How to Disable Smart Bulletin / LG Health on the LG G3
LG, like most manufacturers, have added a new screen to your device’s home screen. Depending on your version of the LG G3 this new screen comes in the form of G Health and Smart Bulletin. This new screen tells you about your steps, goals, etc. that you setup in the included G Health app and it’ll give you tips as well. What if you could care less about your health? Or perhaps you watched our 20+ tips and tricks video and simple don’t need anymore tips? You’d probably like to get rid of this extra, unnecessary screen.
LG does allow you to do this quite easily actually. Simply head to the right settings and turn the toggle to off. You can, of course, reenable it by turning the toggle back on (in case you find yourself missing your G Health and constant reminders of how lazy you are).
As part of our new tips and tricks for the LG G3, here’s a quick step by step to remove Smart Bulletin and G Health from your device’s home screen.
1. Pull down the Notification Shade and tap the gear in the top right to get to Settings.
2. Tap Display.
3. Tap Home Screen.
4. Uncheck LG Health / Smart Bulletin.
5. Check that LG Health / Smart Bulletin is no longer on the home screens.
Alternatively, by the way, you can also change the launcher on the G3 to completely renovate the G3’s home screen experience.
