How to Unroot the LG Lucid 2
Did you encounter any issues on your LG Lucid 2 after rooting it? Do you want to see if those issues are caused by root? If so, flash back the stock firmware on your device and it’ll solve any issues that you might be facing on your device due to root. Here’s how:
Unrooting is the process of removing root access, a custom recovery (if you have one), and just trying to get the device back to as close to stock as possible.
Some of the reasons for unrooting your LG Lucid 2 are:
- Sending in the device for warranty (most, but not all unrooting procedures reinstate the manufacturer warranty if you had one before rooting).
- Starting over (simply undoing everything you did while rooted so you can have a clean slate to start over).
- Fix any issues (Maybe rooting messed something up? No problem, unrooting will take care of it for you).
Ready to get started? Here’s how to unroot the LG Lucid 2:

III. Unrooting the LG Lucid 2
1. First of all, disable all the antivirus programmes that are running on your PC, as they’re likely to interrupt the flashing process.

7. When it’s done, close the tool.
8. Double-click on KDZ_FW_UPD.exe and it’ll open.
9. Select CDMA from the Type dropdown menu.

11. Click on the folder icon and select the .kdz firmware file that you converted in the above step.
