Samsung Galaxy S Gingerbread update halted for Vodafone users
For no apparent reason, Google has decided to pull the plug on the Gingerbread rollout which started yesterday for the Samsung Galaxy S, and Vodafone UK users who haven’t updated already will no longer find it waiting on Kies. The decision seems to have been made solely by Google, as Vodafone UK denies any performance issues. The news was posted on the carrier’s support forums and further states that it will work with Samsung to rectify the situation as soon as possible and get the Android 2.3 update rolling out again.
