Verizon Samsung Fascinate is now Froyo ready
Verizon has started rolling out the Android 2.2 update for its rebranded Galaxy S smartphone. The wait is over and if you don’t know the drill, look for the notification or initiate the download via the settings option on your phone. Connecting your device to Kies is also another option if you are more of the safe-playing, PC-loving kind.
While other Galaxy S devices across the globe are getting to enjoy some delicious Gingerbread, it seems that Verizon users will have to be satisfied with the cold treat that is Froyo for now. We won’t even ask if they’ll be able to push the 2.3 update out before the year is up.
