Apple’s iCloud Already Facing Litigation
Apple’s iCloud has barely been around long enough for the general public to get used to the technology before it’s facing a lawsuit. While this is not the first time Apple has had to deal with litigation, they will now have to contend with Arizona based company iCloud Communications. A lawsuit was filed yesterday in an Arizona District Court.
The Arizona company, iCloud Communications appears to be a VoIP service and equipment provider since 2005. They also claim to provide cloud services extremely similar to Apple’s recently unveiled iCloud technology.
iCloud Communications is requesting Apple demolish all of their iCloud marketing materials, pay monetary damages, and to render the validation on their iCloud logo. While this lawsuit remains in the infancy stage of litigation we can only wonder if a large settlement may be in the future.
