Sprint lowers price of Nexus S 4G, now only $100
With its 1GHz processor and Super AMOLED 4-inch display, the Nexus S 4G is marginally better than its wildly popular predecessor, the Nexus One, and comes off underpowered amongst the likes of the Sensation and the Galaxy S2 that are ruling the roost currently. Still, the Android 2.3 device isn’t all bad and one of the perks of owning a Nexus series smartphone is the preferential treatment it gets when updates are released, and the chance to experience Android in its simplest, elegant form without any UI bloatware slowing up the process.
If that wasn’t enough to get the device, Sprint has just sweetened the deal for you. The carrier will be offering the Nexus S 4G for a $99.99 from today, a whole $100 less than yesterday, which should sound like music to ears that have already heard the handset’s lengthy list of specs. This has been made possible by offering a $200 instead of the previous $100 which was in force until yesterday. As usual, interested customers will have to ink a two-year contract to avail this offer, without which the Nexus S 4G will cost a high $550.
