T-Mobile taking preorders for the HTC myTouch 4G Slide
Things seem to be moving on smoothly for the myTouch 4G Slide – the QWERTY smartphone was announced late last month with a definitive release date of July 27th by T-Mobile, and in line with this, the carrier is now taking preorders for the device so it can be delivered at the promised hour. Customers looking to get their foot in before anyone else will now have the opportunity to reserve their device – in turn eliminating the tedious task of personally heading to the nearest T-Mobile outlet to get the device.
Priced at $199, the myTouch 4G Slide has all the hallmarks of being a successful Android device – it features a 3.7-inch smallish touchscreen display, a full physical four-row QWERTY keypad for easy texting, an 8MP camera to keep any amateur photo enthusiast happy, and HTC’s own eye candy, Sense 3.0, layered on top of Gingerbread 2.3.4 operating system. Digging deeper will also reveal its very powerful innards consisting of a dual-core 1.2GHz processor to keep things humming without a hitch.
Head over to the T-Mobile Online Store if you want to reserve yours.
