Galaxy Tab 8.9 with LTE to be unveiled at IFA

With the recent spate of Galaxy phones and the updated Galaxy S II announcement, we are starting to think Sammy hearts IFA too much.  Continuing on with the rehaul of older devices, the company has announced that the original Galaxy Tab, the one with the 8.9 inch display, will also be seeing some changes for the better.

The tablet will get a 1.5GHz dual-core processor like the S2 and will be running Honeycomb 3.2 OS whenever it is launched – the device will also come with LTE speeds, so we’ll be getting a faster device equipped with faster download rates.  They could launch the device with Ice-Cream Sandwich if it is released well after October, but that’s just speculation on our part.  Other features like its 3.15MP camera, WiFi, TV-out, aGPS, Bluetooth and its namesake 8.9 inch 800×1280 pixel touchscreen display will remain the same.
