Motorola XOOM 4G LTE Upgrade Starts Next Week

Motorola has started to notify its XOOM users that it will begin to upgrade the Android tablet with support for 4G LTE next week. According to Droid-Life, Motorola will begin with business and government customers during a “pilot program” first, and then will continue the update to the general public.

So what do you need to do to get your 4G LTE upgrade? Customers are being asked to file an upgrade request and then Motorola will mail a package containing a pre-paid FedEx box and instructional material. Note: Motorola suggests backing up all of the data on your XOOM before sending it in. Motorola estimates the entire process to take approximately three business days. Check out an image of the upgrade letter for more information.
