Pantech Breakout arriving in Verizon stores, gets pictured meanwhile
Standing at the polar end from the Droid Bionic, the Pantech Breakout may not have the same kind of horsepower (or the hype) surrounding the Motorola device, but can still be pegged as an attractive device, largely due to its LTE support. The device has started arriving in Verizon stores slowly in time for its September 22nd release date, and lucky for us, a sly VZW employee decided to give us a sneak peek at the device before its market debut.
We had word of its decent features earlier this month and if its 4G network support, 1GHz dual-core processor, 4-inch capacitive touchscreen display and Android 2.3 don’t faze you, then its ability to hotspot the Big Red’s 4G connection to up to 10 devices should make a slight impression at the least.
Verizon hasn’t slapped a price tag on the Breakout yet, but you can expect it to run up to within $200 when the handset is released next week.
