Amazon Press Event Scheduled for September 28th, Possible Introduction of Android Based Tablet?
We’ve all been subject to the ongoing hype surrounding Amazon’s upcoming Android based tablet. The tablet is still projected to be a top competitor against Apple’s iPad, even though pricing has yet to be confirmed. Now it looks as though we might be getting closer to an official unveiling of sorts, as Amazon released a press event invite scheduled for September 28th at 10am.
While what exactly is on the agenda for the day still remains to be seen, it would seem a fitting time to unveil the Android slab with the holiday shopping season quickly approaching. While Amazon could decide to introduce their latest 7- and 10- inch Kindle e-Reader, what we are really hoping for is the Android tablet. Either way, we’ll be sure to keep you updated on whatever it is that Amazon decides to wow us with then.
