Samsung’s ChatON Service Now Live For Android and Bada Smartphones
Samsung’s newest messaging service, ChatON is now live for Android and Bada smartphones. Samsung first unveiled the cross-platform service back in August, and promised it to Bada, Android, iOS and BlackBerry users by the fall. As fall is finally here, no word yet regarding when the service will be ready for iOS or BlackBerry enthusiasts.
So what can Android and Bada users look forward to? Essentially, ChatON allows users to share video, images, music, and locations all in addition to a group chat feature. With social features like commenting on friend’s images and posting social messages to other user’s profiles it appears as though ChatON is designed more as a social networking tool, than just your traditional messaging app.
