Motorola Atrix 2 now on sale by AT&T
Announced last week along with the Samsung Captivate Glide and DoubleTime, the Motorola Atrix 2 is now available from AT&T on its online store. The current iteration of the Atrix brings the device’s specs up to speed and on par with other high-end smartphones that are currently available now.
The handset features a dual-core 1GHz ARM Cortex-A9 CPU with a
gig of RAM, a big 4.3 inch Gorilla Glass display, Android 2.3 OS, 8GB of onboard storage, and 4G support with 21Mbps download speed. For imaging, the Atrix 2 features an 8MP camera that is capable of shooting videos at 1080p, while there’s a much timid VGA lens slapped on the front for video call/chat. The smartphone does offer the usual host of connectivity options, including an HDMI port and stereo FM radio.
The device currently costs $449.99 but if you opt for a 2-year contract, you could take it home for just $99.99 – if that’s cheap enough for you, you could check it out on AT&T’s website for more details.
Update: Seems like the same device can be bought from Amazon Wireless at a much lower $49.99 also, feel free to check that out too!
