Google Tablet

Google’s CEO Eric Schmidt has revealed that Google is indeed working on their own Android powered tablet computer to rival the iPad. According to the New York Times, Schmidt broke the news to a group of friends at a recent party in Los Angeles. The article also goes on to add that Google have already contacted a number of publishers in regards to delivering content for the platform.

According to anonymous sources surrounding the project, Google has been shopping around for a manufacturer for applications, including magazines, books and other content.

So far just a rumor, but this tablet battle looks like it could get fun.

  1. Don’t be too proud of this technological terror you’ve constructed. The ability to destroy a planet is insignificant next to the power of the N1.

  2. when the tablet is on the point of launching the CEO of google’s company should say in a press statement “in your face apple” and give the product for free 🙂 (just kidding….or not)
