Nokia Lumia 800/710 picked up by Telus Canada
While the Lumia 710 will be available on both Rogers and Telus in Canada, the Lumia 800 will have the distinction of being the first Nokia Mango smartphone on Telus Canada exclusively when it is released in the coming days. No exact dates were thrown around when Nokia announced this news but February might be a viable month for the release for both the devices.
As we know already the Nokia Lumia 800 features a 3.7-inch ClearBlack display, a 5MP camera. 1.4GHz Snapdragon processor with 512MB of RAM and 16GB of user memory, and uses Microsoft’s Windows Phone 7.5 OS. Every unit will be eligible for access to Microsoft’s SkyDrive for 25GB of cloud storage. The Lumia 710, on the other hand, has similar features but swaps to a 5MP lens instead of the 8MP that the Lumia 800 boasts of and limits onboard storage to 8GB.The Lumia 710 will be available starting in February at $49.99 on Rogers – as to its availability (and also that of the Lumia 800) and price on Telus, we should know more in the coming days.
