Casio Shows Off Tough G-Shock Prototype, Rough On The Eyes Too
If you’re a rough and tumble type of smartphone consumer, then Casio may have something up their sleeve in the form of a G-Shock prototype.While the unnamed device is said to run Android 2.3 (Gingerbread), we do know it can withstand a 10 foot drop, and is water resistant in 10 meters of water. Sadly, additional device specs remain unknown at this time.
Judging by the press shots the rugged phone embodies the familiar G-Shock essence with its rubberized exterior and not so pretty looks. We just don’t understand why everything ultra rugged ends up looking ultra ugly too.
If this prototype makes it to production we’re betting Casio just hopes you don’t really cares what your phone looks like when you’re doing incredibly manly things in the woods.
