White Galaxy Nexus coming to Verizon Wireless, sheds storage to 16GB

If the current dark-hued Galaxy Nexus doesn’t jangle your keys, Verizon might have something else for you in the near future.  According Droid-Life’s tipsters, there seems to be a Galaxy Nexus in the offing that will be garbed in white, a color many love against the fingerprint-masking black tones that usually adorn droids from various manufacturers.

While the change in color might be a good thing for some people, those interested will be disappointed to know that the device will only come with 16GB of internal storage instead of the 32GB on the original version.  But there is a plus to this side as well, as the handset might go for $199 when it is released, as opposed to the original version which currently sells at $299.99 on a two-year Verizon contract.

There are no details revealed on a release date yet, but we’ll tell you when we know.
